Act as a senior developer and subject matter expert in mainframes and Pega technologies for domain support in the banking and credit card verticals. Provide technical guidance to an offshore team. Maintain quality standards as per company and client policy. Involved in requirement analysis, estimation, design, coding, testing, installation, and documentation. Provide on-call support from impact analysis to warranty handover. Involved in production support activities during the warranty.

Experience needed

Work with the following: mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB, IMS DC, CICS, MQ transactions), HP Quality Center (QC), SPUFI, File-Aid, ChangeMan, Jobtrac, Control-M, Apptune, ServiceNow, ManageNow, Endeavor, CICS, store procedures, ISPF, PDF, and Pega technologies including Pega implementation life cycle (tool installation, design, development, migration, testing, and deployment); Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, REST, SOAP, File, SQL, MQ, JMS connectors, and building class structure hierarchy and rule set structure based on Pega guardrails, creating flows, flow actions, properties, activities, and using tracer and clipboard. Other similar duties as assigned. Monday through Friday; 40 hours/week. Requires a Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as an analyst programmer, mainframe developer, consultant, graduate engineer trainee, or equivalent. Experience to include: mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB, IMS DC, CICS, MQ transactions), HP Quality Center (QC), SPUFI, File-Aid, ChangeMan, Jobtrac, Control-M, Apptune, ServiceNow, ManageNow, store procedures, ISPF, PDF, and Pega technologies including Pega implementation life cycle (design, development, migration, testing, and deployment); Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, REST, SOAP, File, SQL, MQ, JMS connectors, and building class structure hierarchy and rule set structure based on Pega guardrails, creating flows, flow actions, properties, activities, and using tracer and clipboard.

Relocation and travel to unanticipated locations within the USA is possible. Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
